Brew Dog $$ (Indoor)
This beer bar is perfect for groups and it has an industrial vibe with amazing craft beers and friendly service. Our favorite part about this place is that you can also order food!
Prater Garten $$ (Outdoor)
This classic outdoor beer garden is very popular and is also great for groups and they serve German food. Yay! This place is amazing for a hot Summer day. Also, if you are in Germany and want to socialize this will be your new go-to spot!
Eschenbrau $ (Outdoor and Indoor)
Seasonal beers and fun fill this beer garden year around. Great for groups and socialize with classic communal beer garden seating. This place also allows you to bring your own food!

For the Perfect Time Out in Berlin
Mein Haus Am See $$ (Indoor)
This was one of our favorite places that we visited for drinks while staying in Berlin. It is very unique in many ways, which include stair/stadium like seating arrangements as well as boutique café like seating. It also has specialty beers, hip and relaxing atmosphere, and is frequented with locals and tourists. The disco lighting in the bathroom was even a point of interest here. This lounge is all day and night as you can sip coffee in the morning and come back for beers at night, however, it gets more packed at night.
Klunkerkranich $$ (Outdoor/Rooftop)
Warning! This place is very instagrammable! This place is so fun with a relaxing vibe and a literal sandbox. Some food options and cool art. This place is located on the rooftop, which may make the views the best part of all.
Badeschiff Berlin $$$ (Outdoor)
Another instagrammable spot! This bar is literally right on the river with a heated swimming pool floating on top of it that is made out of a bathing ship. Grab a drink, go swimming, or both. Since the swimming pool is such a cool feature there is a cover charge to get into this place: 20 Euros and optional storage lockers as well.
Definitely a day option with the pool but super fun for a perfect time out in Berlin.

Birgit & Bier $$ (Outdoor and Indoor)
This place is super fun and most people say that it has an Alice & Wonderland vibe. We went to a paid festival event here to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. You’ll find great beers and fun décor and seating all around this place.
YAMM Berlin $ (Outdoor)
This “beach” bar is known for being a relaxing spot to grab drinks and amazing Jamaican food right on the river. You can also check out some cool artwork/graffiti while you’re there.
Monkey Bar $$$ (Indoor and Outdoor/Rooftop)
Monkey Bar may seem like an odd name, but it is for a reason. It overlooks the zoo. The prices may be on the pricier side but we think that the view makes up for it, depending on your budget. This place has one the best views around and it also serves some food as well.
While we are vegans and don’t condone the caging of wild animals, it is a selling point for people who want to do something different. In terms of a bar experience.
